Should visiting IDSF judges teach before comps ?

Saturday, 12 April 2008 15:06

Should judges ( especially the visiting, considered  "impartial" or  "neutral" be allowed to have a personal contact and "give"  private lessons  to dancers who they would judge the next day in a competition ?

Would this not affect their,  conceived, impartiality ?

Hi light&easy

Personally I think it very undesirable for any invited judge to teach prior to any competition whether IDSF, local or any worldwide event. If they wish to teach afterwards that's fine. But judges should be seen to impartial as well as pretending to be.
